Senior Investigator, Investigations & Compliance Team About The Role Senior Investigators will work with the Manager, Investigations & Compliance to further develop, prepare and implement the investigation functions of the HCC. They will conduct investigations, review complaints and identify issues, obtain evidence and consider quality improvement recommendations in accordance with the provisions of the Health Complaints Act 2016 and the Health Records Act 2001. About The HCC The Health Complaints Commissioner (HCC) is an independent statutory officer whose role is established under the Health Complaints Act 2016. The HCC supports safe and ethical healthcare in Victoria by resolving complaints about health services and conducting investigations into healthcare providers who pose a serious risk to the health, safety or welfare of the public. About You A skilled & experienced investigator with highly developed analytical skills in a regulatory agency A team player who enjoys working collaboratively with others in pursuit of team goals Interested in influencing the safety and quality framework in healthcare delivery Critical thinker and problem solver Qualifications A tertiary qualification in fields related to law, investigations, law enforcement or a related discipline and/or Certificate IV in Government (Investigation) would be desirable.
