Join to apply for the Center Director role at Busy Bees Early Learning Base pay range Hourly Rate: $45.53 – $51.17 per hour (depending on experience and level) Licensed Capacity: 86 places About the Role Busy Bees at Port Kennedy is looking for an experienced and motivated Centre Director to lead our service. With a licensed capacity of 86 children, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, supporting your team, and ensuring high-quality outcomes for children and families. Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of educators to deliver outstanding care and education Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) , EYLF , and ACECQA requirements Oversee enrolments, occupancy, rostering, and budgeting Build strong, lasting partnerships with families and the local community Collaborate with the Educational Leader to drive continuous improvement and high-quality curriculum delivery Promote Busy Bees’ values of Care, Quality, Service, and Value What You’ll Need Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) Proven leadership experience in a childcare or early education setting Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and compliance frameworks Current Working with Children Check (WA) Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications Full Australian working rights Above award salary – $45.53 to $51.17 per hour Quarterly BEEs Bonus Program for Centre Directors Uniform and Laundry allowance Generous childcare gap fee discounts for permanent staff Dedicated Pedagogy & Compliance Partner for ongoing guidance National Support Network of Area and Regional Managers Access to Busy Bees’ Learning & Development programs via our partnered RTO Opportunity to join the Global Talent Exchange Program (UK in 2025) Access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for wellbeing support Apply now to lead Busy Bees at Port Kennedy and shape a thriving learning environment while growing your leadership career in early education.
