We are proud to be one of the few leading international specialist environmental consultancies. Our Geospatial and Data Solutions team, have an opportunity for a Senior GIS Analyst to join our team. This is a Full‑Time role, that can be based in our Sydney, Perth or Brisbane office. This role reports to the GIS Manager on a range of geospatial and project related tasks. You will have the opportunity to progress in your expertise and career working in a range of multidisciplinary projects and teams across the APAC region. Job Tasks and Responsibilities Provide expert advice and support on geospatial concepts to teams across the APAC region Collaborate with both local and regional teams within APAC to deliver quality work Undertake data management, manipulation and visualisation for projects Undertake spatial analysis to support decision making Prepare high quality maps and figures for reports Manage and develop online content including web maps, dashboard and mobile data collection applications Liaise proactively and seamlessly between external and internal teams and clients of different disciplines Skills and Experience Ideally you can demonstrate working at a senior level within a consulting environment as well as have a : Degree in Geographics Information Systems or a similar qualification Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role Advanced proficiency in ESRI ArcGISPro and Desktop, QGIS and other GIS applications Solid understanding of fundamental GIS concepts including coordinate systems, data formats and spatial analysis and geodatabase schemas Experience in producing both high quality cartographic outputs, visualisation and data management Experience with ESRI Enterprise, AGOL (ArcGIS Online) and mobile data collections apps (Survey123 and ArcGIS FieldMaps) Ability to develop data manipulation or ETL tools (e.g. FME, Python and ArcGIS Model Builder) Diverse project experience that can be applied across a range of project disciplines especially in Environmental Sciences and Ecology Proven time management, budget awareness and ability to meet deadlines High level of written and verbal communication skills Full working rights in Australia Our Benefits We are most proud of our expert teams and unique culture where we work together to collaborate on projects to get the best possible outcome for our clients.
