Job Overview Survey Technician/Civil Drafter role at KBR, Inc. Responsibilities Complete civil designs and drafting work using AutoCAD, Microstation, and Civil 3D. Produce accurate survey drawings, models, and documentation. Perform feature extraction from point‑cloud models using Leica Cyclone 3DR (or similar software). Interpret survey data and collaborate with surveyors and engineers to deliver high‑quality plans and models. Liaise with project supervisors, engineers, and junior staff to ensure project deliverables meet standards. Qualifications & Experience 5+ years’ experience in survey drafting and modelling for infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of survey standards and deliverables. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and 12D for producing accurate survey drawings and models. Experience with feature extraction from point‑cloud models and creation of survey‑ready outputs. Demonstrated success on major infrastructure projects, with strong attention to detail, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
