We are seeking a hands‑on, experienced Restaurant Manager to join our front‑of‑house leadership team. You will take ownership of service delivery, support our team and continue elevating the guest experience. Benefits 4-day work week (40 hours) – Friday & Saturday availability essential Sunday closure; guaranteed day off every week Stable, supportive team culture with room for growth Influence on guest experience, service style and operations Located in the heart of Fremantle Task & responsibilities Lead, mentor and coach the front‑of‑house team to deliver consistent, high‑quality service aligned with our values Oversee daily operations of the dining room (reservations, seating flow, guest relations, table management and service standards) Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication, timely service and strong alignment between front and back of house Drive guest experience initiatives: refining service protocols, handling guest feedback and creating memorable moments Uphold and further our sustainability and local‑produce philosophies in every aspect of service and presentation Qualification & experience Diploma of Hospitality Management (or equivalent) required Minimum of 2 years of experience in the role in a busy environment (referees will be contacted) Strong leadership and team coordination skills Excellent communication and guest engagement ability Calm under pressure and highly organised Attention to detail in presentation and cleanliness Familiar with POS systems, stock ordering, and rostering RSA certificate (essential); Food Safety certificate (desirable) About Company Manuka Woodfire Kitchen is a Fremantle favourite, celebrated for its open wood‑fired hearth, seasonal menus and warm, welcoming atmosphere.We are a passionate team committed to local produce, sustainability and delivering an exceptional dining experience grounded in genuine, heartfelt hospitality.
