As the Program Manager, you will provide managerial oversight and coordinationof a large and growing portfolio of research projects in the field of HumanDevelopment and Community Wellbeing. This will include working closely with theProgram Head, our Program Coordinators and all other staff within the HumanDevelopment and Community Wellbeing (HDCW) Team to deliver high qualityresearch outcomes.You will have opportunities to work across all areas of theresearch program, supporting the Program Head with the strategic direction ofthe program by providing leadership and support, overseeing all aspects of projectmanagement including financial and grant management, supporting communityengagement activities and contributing to the team’s strategic resourceplanning including staffing and identifying new funding opportunities to securefinancial sustainability.This position has the potential to be shaped into your ownas we will look to you to develop and establish new processes and initiativesto ensure the efficient delivery of our program of work.Based in our officein Nedlands, this full-time opportunity will be offered for 2 years in thefirst instance.About YouThis position wouldsuit someone with project management and finance experience and a passion tocollaborate with and lead others. The key to your success will be yourexperience and skills in the following areas:Tertiary qualification in a relevant science, health related or business management field.Relevant experience in an administrative, research project management, business capacity and/or clinical research role.Superior people skills with the ability to develop strong internal and external relationships.Experience in managing budgets and grants in complex funding environments.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Highly developed research project planning, coordination, and management skills.We are drivinginclusion and diversity as part of the way we work and embrace the diversecareer and life experiences of our staff.
