Inclusive Workplace : Recognised by the Diversity Council of Australia as an Inclusive Employer What You’ll Do Report to the H&S Manager within the HSEQ team, supporting the roll‑out of Kapitol's Safety Management System and Critical Standards. Facilitate the development, implementation and review of site‑specific Safety Management Plans. Implement risk management procedures to identify and verify effective controls aligned to legal obligations and Critical Standards. Provide clear advice on interpreting and applying the Safety Management System, Critical Standards and WHS legal requirements. Monitor safety controls via inspections and safety monitoring processes; maintain compliance registers and safety records. Record workplace incidents in reporting platforms, elevate notifications within timeframes, and coordinate regulatory notifications when required. Undertake incident investigations, support critical incident responses, and contribute to lessons learned. Guide site teams in preparing for external audits; address non‑conformances, close out corrective actions, and verify effectiveness. Lead and contribute to safety forums including pre‑starts, toolbox talks and Safety Committees; establish and facilitate committees where required. Prepare and / or deliver safety inductions and site‑specific training; facilitate workshops supporting the Safety Management System. Analyse safety performance data, prepare reports, identify trends and improvement opportunities, and support corrective action plans. Collaborate with service providers and key stakeholders to coordinate on‑site safety programmes and implement safety initiatives and strategies. Who You Are Proven ability to facilitate Safety Management Plans and implement robust risk management procedures in construction settings. Strong knowledge of WHS legal requirements, Critical Standards, incident notification and regulatory reporting. Experienced in inspections, audits, incident investigations and developing / closing out corrective actions. Skilled communicator who can deliver toolbox talks, inductions and training, and contribute effectively to Safety Committees. Data‑driven and improvement‑focused, able to analyse performance, identify trends, and drive evidence‑based safety solutions.
