This is a dynamic contract working on some of Australia’s biggest events including City2Surf, IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 events in Oceania, the Runaway Series, Noosa and Mooloolaba Triathlon as well as trail running events across Australia and New Zealand. About the Role We’re looking for a talented junior graphic design (casual) to assist our busy design team for up to 15 hours per week. Workdays and hours are not fixed and vary based on organisational needs, providing flexibility to shape your schedule around key business priorities. This role is based in our Noosa Office. What You’ll Do Graphic Design Marketing materials including print, digital, website and eDM’s to support entry driving campaigns; Artist and event materials including t-shirts, towels, medals, signage and maps to support event marketing communications. Event Brands Assist in bringing our event brands to life through contemporary, iconic and aspirational design; Ensure brands are consistently executed through all design elements; Assist in developing event brand toolkits including logo, font and design templates. The Ideal Candidate Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or related field 2+ years work experience in a design role with a strong portfolio of previous design work Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Acrobat) Experience with design of print and digital assets including animation/motion graphics (gif/video banners, social media, EDMs) and design of large format signage Experience with web CMS systems Experience in HTML and CSS is highly desirable but not essential A good understanding of design trends, social media and technologies in the digital space Proven ability to create design concepts that are on brief, define the overall look and feel whilst maintaining style and brand requirements Personal Attributes Meticulous attention to detail Self‑motivated and able to work efficiently without supervision Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Flexible and able to juggle multiple projects at once Ability to work under tight deadlines and multi‑task, while maintaining high quality results Energetic, personable and able to work co‑operatively with other team members Passionate and driven to deliver high quality results Interest in sporting events is beneficial How To Apply If this sounds like the opportunity you have been looking for then please submit your CV and design portfolio along with a cover letter detailing the experience you have and how it meets the key requirements for the role.
