In this role, you will deliver engaging and compliant vocational education across diverse learning environments, supporting students through the full learning lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Deliver training and assessment aligned with VET and curriculum requirements Support student engagement, attendance, and outcomes Maintain teaching and compliance documentation Participate in industry consultation and curriculum development Provide pastoral and academic support to students Contribute to continuous improvement of teaching practices and resources Skills and Experience Required Relevant vocational qualifications and current industry skills Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) VET teaching experience, preferably in training and assessment Understanding of ASQA/VET compliance requirements Strong interpersonal, planning, and student management skills Demonstrated ability to innovate and adapt teaching strategies Additional Requirements A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) A National Police Check How to Apply Complete all pre‑screening questions Upload your CV and a brief cover letter (maximum 2 pages) outlining how your skills, experience, and personal attributes align with the Key Skills and Experience in the PD If applying for a teaching role, upload combined copies of your relevant qualifications and provide your USI VET Transcript (if available): Include the transcript link (from your USI Student Portal) in your cover letter, and upload the transcript PDF under the qualifications section Click Apply to submit your application through Melbourne Polytechnic’s careers portal.
