The Carer Consultantcontributes a carer’s perspective to the planning, development,delivery and evaluation of mental health programs for the NMHSMental Health Service. In this role, you will use your own livedexperience as a carer to: represent the carerperspective in committees and meetings work with stakeholdersand service providers to improve clinical servicedelivery facilitate carerfeedback and participation in service improvementinitiatives co-facilitate the livedexperience advisory group identify and engagerelevant carer networks Whatwe are looking for You must have a livedexperience as a primary carer of a consumer of mental healthservices. You will bring a genuine interest in improving the carerand consumer experience and have great communication skills toallow you to work effectively with a diverse range of mental healthstakeholders.
