Based from ourWetherill Park branch , we currently have several casual opportunities for Factory Sorters on our afternoon shift to join our team and assist in the day‑to‑day operation of our recycling facility. We’re looking for get‑up‑and‑go team players who strives to get the job done — safely, efficiently, and within required timeframes. What You’ll Do Sort material for destruction on tables or conveyor belts Operate shredding and baling equipment according to safety and quality standards Accurately record information on inbound and outbound loads Perform pre‑start checks on plant and equipment Carry out regular cleaning of equipment and maintain facility cleanliness Empty pallets and container bins, returning stock to the correct place Check loads are secure and move goods packed on pallets or crates within the facility Assist with the unloading and reloading of local trucks Load export containers and semi‑trailers to allowed load limits Check the quality of incoming and outgoing materials and report any non‑compliance to the supervisor What You Bring Forklift licence preferred (not essential) Ability to perform repetitive tasks for periods of time Positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude Ability to work autonomously and independently Strong communication skills – written and verbal Good time management and attention to detail Commitment to ensuring services meet quality objectives Alignment with our values of Smart, Safe, and Service Why Join Shred‑X?
