You will be an integral part of the day-to-day operations of this thriving neighbourhood newsagency, located in East Maitland, NSW. In this customer-facing role, you will deliver exceptional service to our valued local community. What you'll be doing Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service Assist customers with their purchases, including newspapers, magazines, stationery, and gifts Operate the cash register and handle cash and card payments Restock and merchandize shelves to maintain an attractive and well‑organised store Support the store's daily administrative tasks, such as inventory management Contribute to creating a welcoming and efficient retail environment What we're looking for Previous experience in a customer service or retail role Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong numerical skills and attention to detail The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team A friendly, positive, and helpful attitude Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required What we offer At Greenhills Newsagency, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment.
