Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians – 60 Day Shutdown Our client, located in Port Pirie, is an integrated multi‑metals recovery plant with a rich history of over 150 years as a leading manufacturer of zinc, lead and other metals. They are currently seeking multiple Dual Trade Electricians and Unrestricted Electricians to join in an upcoming shutdown commencing on the 3rd of October until the 7th of December, working on the completion of mechanical maintenance activities, offering Day shifts. What’s on offer? 12‑Hour Shifts, 13 Days on, 1 Day off (over duration of shutdown period) Unrestricted Electrician Day Shift Flat Rate $70.00ph Dual Trade Day Shift Flat Rate $80.00ph Accommodation & Meals provided Mob/Demob allowance Training and Inductions provided Duties include but are not limited to: Timely and effective completion of assigned mechanical maintenance tasks Compliance with safety and operational procedures Reporting to assigned coordinators Successful candidates will possess the following: Applicable Trade Qualifications White Card Basic Tools Valid Confined Space & Working at Heights Tickets Forklift / Elevated Work Platform Ticket (desirable but not essential) Pre‑screening requirements for fitness for work including drug and alcohol screening form part of the minimum requirement for selection and employment.
