In this role, you will: Deliver compliance audits and work with independent auditors responsible for assessing compliance of upgrades Contribute to the integrity of the program and the ongoing improvement of the audit function Manage a team dedicated to the success of the VEU Program Position details The position is responsible for: Playing a critical leadership role in shaping and advancing Australia's largest energy efficiency program. Your work will focus delivering a quality audit program under the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target Act 2007 to ensure upgrades are compliant and ensuring energy retailers meet their obligations under the program. Your team will support the program's objectives of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving energy efficiency across Victoria. Please refer to the attached position description for the principal functions and key selection criteria. This is a fixed term position until 30 June 2026. The work location for this position is 570 Bourke Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available. About us The Essential Services Commission is Victoria's independent economic regulator of essential services supplied by a range of industries. The commission's functions include: making regulatory decisions with respect to prescribed industries (including price determinations, licensing, customer protection and access disputes). undertaking reviews and providing advice to Ministers on a range of economic and regulatory matters. administering the Victorian Energy Upgrades program.
