We are now seeking a talented Practice Manager / General Manager to lead our team and drive the next stage of our growth. About the Role As Practice Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our operations — ensuring the clinic runs seamlessly, while leading growth initiatives across the group. This is a dynamic, hands‑on position that blends people leadership, operational excellence, and strategic development. Key responsibilities: Oversee daily operations and coordination of medical and allied health services. Lead, mentor, and support administrative and reception teams. Manage recruitment, onboarding, rostering, and performance development. Ensure compliance with clinical, administrative, and legislative requirements. Oversee billing, reporting, and financial processes in liaison with bookkeeping and finance support. Support remuneration processes for doctors, nurses, and allied health clinicians. Monitor and manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships. Implement policies and systems that improve efficiency and align with best practice. Collaborate with clinical directors to enhance patient experience and streamline workflows. Support business development initiatives, including new service lines and clinic expansion. Coordinate ongoing professional development and training for clinicians and staff. You will not be expected to complete all above tasks yourself - delegation to staff will be encouraged and expected. You’ll work closely with our two specialist medical directors, who take a supportive and collaborative approach to leadership. Experience in medical or specialist clinics is an advantage, but we also welcome strong managers from other service‑based industries who are ready to step into healthcare and grow with us. Skills and Experience Proven experience as a Practice Manager, Operations Manager, or equivalent leadership role (healthcare experience highly regarded but not essential). Strong people leadership skills, with a track record of motivating high‑performing teams. Financial and operational acumen, with confidence in HR, compliance, and systems management. Strategic mindset with experience in business growth, recruitment, and service development. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organisational skills. Proficiency with technology and practice systems (MS Office essential; Xero and medical software advantageous). Professional, calm, and approachable manner, even under pressure.
