Crunchyroll is seeking an Accounting Manager- Contract to join our team in Melbourne (hybrid). About Crunchyroll Founded by fans, Crunchyroll delivers the art and culture of anime to a passionate community across 200+ countries and territories. It offers streaming video, theatrical releases, games, merchandise, events, and more. About The Team The Crunchyroll Accounting Team is a global organization of nearly 50 professionals that supports the company's critical business functions and ensures compliance with accounting standards, company policy, and regulatory bodies. Location Melbourne, Victoria, Australia (hybrid) About You Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA (or equivalent) certification is highly preferred 5 years of relevant experience Experience working in multinational corporations Experience with international transfer pricing analyses and tax treatments Outstanding communication skills, operating in a fast paced, dynamic environment Strong technical accounting knowledge Experience using NetSuite is an asset A Day in the Life Business partnering with non‑financial departments Managing and reviewing month‑end and year‑end close processes Inter‑company journals and reconciliations Managing a small local team while coordinating across several geographical locations Point of contact for external stakeholders (audit, tax, etc.) Managing year‑end audit and tax processes, preparing statutory reports and transfer pricing documentation, liaising with external and internal tax teams to prepare year‑end income tax returns Preparing detailed ad‑hoc and monthly financial analyses to assist business with operational decision‑making Contract Length One‑year fixed‑term contract.
