Casual position based at our Little Collins St (HQ) Office Provide effective administrative support to all teams within the Education Performance Unit as required, including to organise logistics for various activities, annual subscriptions, customer service assistance and maintaining office stationery inventory Hourly rate is $39.40 + 12% super Other benefits include: Supportive environment and caring work culture with work/life balance Cultural Diversity Flare Employee Discounts Program Employee Assistance Program (EAP) About the position The key role of the Education Performance Support Officer is to provide effective and high‑quality administration support to internal stakeholders. Working closely with the Coordinators in the Education Performance Unit, this position contributes to the smooth functioning of the Education Performance Unit and supports compliance and quality assurance activities. Selection Criteria Minimum of Certificate III in Business Administration or similar field; and/or at least 1 year’s experience in an administration role Demonstrated ability to provide administrative support in a funded/contracted setting, including the ability to communicate with a range of people (for example, CALD communities and difficult clients) Demonstrated knowledge of various administrative functions in Education programs including SEE, Skills First, AMEP and ACFE High level IT skills including use of online platforms in registering and enrolling Education clients Proficient in Student Management Systems, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams Demonstrated ability in using online platforms to support clients and client data reporting Ability to work with datasets and maintain data integrity Accuracy and attention to detail in data processing and record‑keeping Ability to generate regular reports, undertake basic analysis of results and make simple recommendations to management to highlight concerning changes Demonstrated ability to take initiative, problem solve and take the extra mile to engage clients Experience working with client management systems and/or government reporting systems (ARMS, Workforce Australia, SVTS, inputting and extracting data) Possess strong organisational and time management skills, including the ability to effectively prioritise tasks from multiple stakeholders Exposure to financial processes, payments and/or petty cash management Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a busy environment Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills, including some editing skills Ability to maintain manual and electronic records Demonstrated attention to detail How to Apply Your current resume Cover letter addressing the key selection criteria outlined above Applications for this position will be accepted up to 5pm on Sunday, 30 November 2025 , however interviews and other selection processes will commence as suitable applications are received.
