Part time with flexible working arrangements Modern, bright office in Ardross location $35+ per hour Supportive and friendly work environment About Us Tavani Tax and Accounting is a public Chartered Accounting practice based in Ardross, specialising in small to medium enterprises offering compliance, cashflow and budgeting and consultancy. We are a dynamic and rapidly growing firm and seek an enthusiastic intermediate tax accountant to join our team. Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and organised tax accountant, with strong communication and technical skills. With plenty of opportunity to grow, the successful candidate will undertake a key role in this dynamic and growing accounting practice. You will benefit from working with the director and senior accountant and receive exposure to a wide range of clients and industries, whilst having flexibility to manage your own workload to maximise your earning potential. Key Responsibilities Prepare financial statements for companies, trusts and sole traders Prepare tax returns and Business Activity Statements Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies Update ASIC using governance software for companies Communicate with clients and other stakeholders as needed General administration and support to Director Requirements Associates or Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field 2+ years of experience in an accounting/tax or related role Proficiency with accounting software, such as MYOB, XERO and Excel Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks Good communication and problem-solving skills We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional development.
