Senior Research Officer

The Senior ResearchOfficer will be responsible for multiple areas of research specifically linkedto projects involving person-level linked administrative data, from bothgovernment and other sources such as the NGO service sector. This role willsupport the data-focused projects within the Life Course Centre and conducttasks including; managing ethics and governance, data management, contributingto academic writing and scholarly outputs, providing support to the seniorresearch staff and WA Node Director, managing and analysing complex data, andworking with multiple stakeholders. This includes supporting workshops and otherstakeholder engagement processes linked to relevant Life Course Centre projectsin the Data for Policy Portfolio.About YouPhD or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (economics, statistics, epidemiology, psychology, and population health, or similar).Demonstrated experience in academic writing (e.g., scholarly publications, report writing, grant writing).Evidence of research experience in a relevant person-level data-related discipline, including experience with large-scale person-level and linked data management and analysis.Experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships beyond the research landscape (e.g. NGO's, government, other educational bodies).Well-developed conceptual and analytical skills including ability for strategic thinking and develop appropriate strategies.We are drivinginclusion and diversity as part of the way we work and embrace the diversecareer and life experiences of our staff.
