Why You’ll Love Working at Avia Homes Competitive salary package based on experience Ownership of your function and freedom to shape how things are done Ongoing training, mentoring and leadership development opportunities Regular team events and a workplace that feels like home A culture built on education, service and integrity Work with cutting‑edge drafting tools and help set new trends in residential building What You’ll Be Doing Lead and mentor the drafting team, setting clear goals and standards Oversee workflows, task delegation and production deadlines to keep projects moving Drive Revit adoption and optimise drafting systems across operations Ensure all plans are accurate, compliant and build‑ready Manage master plans and technical details to align with business objectives Collaborate with Operations, Building and Procurement teams to maintain quality and consistency What You’ll Bring 5+ years leading drafting teams in volume home building Advanced Revit expertise and confidence with drafting software Strong knowledge of NCC, BCA, QDC, Australian Standards and council regulations Solid understanding of construction methods and buildability Proven ability to set standards, manage deadlines and deliver accurate, build‑ready plans Clear communicator who can influence across departments and at leadership level Organised, detail‑driven and cool under pressure with a knack for solving problems fast About Avia Homes At Avia Homes, we build homes people love, and we do it differently.
