We are seeking to establish a pool of School Psychologists for permanent and fixed‑term, full‑time and part‑time vacancies at Baldivis Secondary College, beginning during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for openings during this period. Role Overview Baldivis Secondary College seeks a full‑time and part‑time School Psychologist to support the mental health, wellbeing, and academic success of all students. The role includes traditional school psychology duties plus collaboration with staff to implement Multi‑Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), student wellbeing initiatives, and a culture of care. Key Responsibilities Implement and align Multi‑Tiered Systems of Support with staff. Facilitate professional learning on resilience, trauma‑informed practices, and stress management. Implement school‑wide programs focused on mindfulness, resilience, and social‑emotional learning. Partner with Student Services for case management. Promote inclusive practices for all students, with a focus on diverse and vulnerable learners. Eligibility & Qualifications Hold or be eligible for provisional or general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia. Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with the required work rights for the term of appointment. Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before starting. Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number from the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before starting. Demonstrate ability to implement school psychology services and programs in an educational environment. Demonstrate knowledge of implementation and evaluation of psychological approaches appropriate for individual, group, and system‑level interventions. Show high‑level written and oral communication skills, including correspondence, reports, case notes, and facilitation. Display highly developed interpersonal skills, self‑directed work, teamwork across interdisciplinary groups, and ability to work with clients across lifespan and agencies. Apply analytical and conceptual skills to issue identification, risk assessment, intervention, and evaluation.
