The operations & compliance Officer is the CEO’s strategy and execution partner—supporting day‑to‑day admin and academic operations and turning strategy into delivered outcomes. They lead cross‑functional projects, maintain order in the house translate ASQA requirements into simple SOPs and checklists, and work on different continuous improvement initiatives (OKRs, dashboards, risk logs) so priorities ship on time, compliantly, and with clear ownership. Responsibilities Design and conduct internal audits to identify gaps and present solutions on closing them. Own the continuous improvement register and risk register to document issues and resolutions to fix them. Provide hands‑on support for daily admin & academic operations; unblock issues fast. Design core admin workflows for the team to action on (records, timetables, forms, agent documentation) and meet ASQA compliance standards. Lead new projects/initiatives and coordinate stakeholders across Academic, Admissions, Compliance, Finance, Marketing, Agents to work towards a solution. Prepare CEO/Exec materials: briefs, updates, post‑mortems. Facilitate team OKRs (set, track, and run quarterly retros). Requirements 2–3 yrs Experience in a CRICOS RTO. Understanding of ASQA standards and legislation. Works independently knowing where and how to fetch required information. Comfortable taking initiatives.
