Service Supervisor

Earn up to $55 per hour + 15% loading per hour $350 Weekly Housing Allowance 4% Annual Bonus We are looking for a talented Service Supervisor to join our high performing team in Mt.Isa, QLD. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing repairs and rebuilds on engine products in our service workshop whilst coaching and developing less experienced technicians. Impact Independently perform diagnostics and complete complex repairs Maintain productive customer relations and ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needs to minimize customer product downtime Coaches on preventative maintenance and/or repairs completed by more experienced technicians and/or customer technicians; may provide work direction to others; may review repair plans, parts and tool lists, etc Escalate unresolved issues to product specialists / engineering teams Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens Identify additional sales and service opportunities with customer Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation Adheres to and ensures adherence of technicians to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor Qualifications Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Cert III) or equivalent Advanced level of workshop or field service experience Advanced level knowledge of and experience with engine products HR License Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians Cummins Experience (preferred) Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly + shift allowance rate paid as a permanent salary Overtime penalties for all work above standard Monday to Friday 38-hour work week Participation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) program Income Protection continuance insurance Discounts withselect private health insurance PC software/hardware and a range of vehicles Annual remuneration reviews Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms provided Range of personal and professional benefits Cummins is an equal employment opportunity employer.
