What will my duties include? Prepare and cook menu items according to cooking guidelines and set standards. Support senior chefs and kitchen staff with various tasks, including food assembly and plating. Ensure food safety procedures are followed. Maintain control and leadership in the kitchen during service times in the allocated section. Keep the workstation clean and organised. The role is fast‑paced and may require lifting boxes, kegs or stock, standing for long periods, and using stairs. What We Are Looking For Hold a Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent). Food Handlers Certificate. Experience working in a fast‑paced pub or bistro environment. Understanding of fundamental cooking methods and recipe execution. Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
