Opportunity Tombo Den is seeking a talented commis chef to join our team. The Ideal Candidate Must Have Experience as a commis chef in an a‑la‑carte restaurant. Ability to follow instructions and absorb new information. Japanese cuisine experience highly regarded. Good communication skills and immaculate presentation. Positive attitude, resilience and adaptability to change. Understanding of Food Safety and OH&S. Foundation knife skills and knowledge of basic cookery terms and techniques. Attention to detail. Outstanding time management during preparation and service periods. Calm and composed demeanour. Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience. Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
