We are a privately-owned Australian investment group seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our local finance team. We operate high-growth, innovation-driven businesses in the United States with local Australian operations giving you the opportunity to work across multiple entities in a pivotal role for the group. About the Role As Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing the financial operations of three high-growth technology companies while collaborating with the group's CFO and founder. You’ll handle end-to-end accounting, support strategic decision-making, and ensure high-quality reporting across fast-moving businesses. Key Responsibilities Own month-end close, journals, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting Prepare financial statements in compliance with accounting standards Manage AP, AR and payroll oversight (outsourced or internal) Prepare and manage consolidated reporting, intercompany transactions, and corporate requirementsAssist with budgeting and forecasting Oversee GST, BAS, FBT and regulatory filings Support audit processes (internal and external) Improve accounting systems, processes and internal controls Provide strategic financial insights to leadership across product, sales, and operations About You Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or similar CA/CPA qualified (or in final stages) 10+ years’ accounting experience, ideally within tech, SaaS, fintech, digital or high-growth environments Strong understanding of reporting requirements Experience with multi-entity or cross-border operations Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling business with shifting priorities Proficiency in cloud-based accounting tools (Quickbooks Online and Xero) Why Join Us?
