Export Control Officer - Canberra Guided Weapons & Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Maritime and Maintenance Responsibilities Provide expert support to a range of programs ensuring compliance with trade control obligations. Analyse and interpret legislation and policy across regimes such as the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, Arms Export Control Act, Defence Trade Controls Act and European legislation. Engage professionally with internal and external stakeholders managing sensitive information with discretion. Balance competing priorities while communicating clearly and confidently. Qualifications Experience providing support services to programs. Strong skills in legislative and policy analysis. Understanding of trade control and export control frameworks. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to manage sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. Requirements Applicants must hold or be eligible for an Australian Defence security clearance.
