Share a cuppa and a few domino wins, Community Social Volunteer, Wallsend Share a cuppa, a chat, and a few domino wins We're looking for a friendly volunteer to brighten the day of an older gentleman in Wallsend. He'd love some regular company whether that's sharing a cuppa and a chat, going for a drive, or enjoying a few games of dominoes together. If you enjoy good conversation and simple pleasures, this could be a wonderful way to make a real difference in someone's week. Location: Wallsend Time commitment: 1 hour per week (flexible) Impact: Deep, personal, and lasting One hour a week can make a real difference. ***Your impact*** Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with.
