As a Trusted Technical Leader, You Will Champion best‑practice asset engineering across our zone substations and primary electricity assets. Lead and mentor a capable, supportive team, helping others grow through your guidance and encouragement. Build strong partnerships with internal teams, delivery partners, and stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes together. Monitor and optimise asset risk, health and performance. Set the direction for asset strategies and innovations that improve safety, performance, and our stakeholder experience. Explore and introduce new technologies that make our network smarter, more stable, and more sustainable. You’ll Likely Have Solid experience in the electrical supply or related industry. Strong technical leadership and mentoring capabilities. Experience delivering asset management or capital works programmes. A strategic mindset with a future‑focused vision for grid transformation. The ability to communicate with clarity, influence with care, and build authentic relationships across all levels. A degree in Electrical Engineering (Chartered Engineer status is a plus).
