Continuing, Part Time Appointment | 0.2FTETeaching Focused Academic Level E – annual salary $195,391 pa (pro rata)Plus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leaveCasuarina Campus| Position to commence January 2026 Be a-part of the CDU Menzies School of Medicine by performing in a senior leadership position within the Faculty of Health About the Position As the Professor Pathology, you will be responsible for providing academic leadership of clinical Pathology within the CDU Menzies Medical Program (CMMP) and is responsible for overseeing clinical education and training of students at clinical placement sites. The Professor Pathology is a role that will have responsibility for the oversight, coordination and operationalisation of teaching and activities within Pathology. The incumbent will be expected to develop and lead academic excellence across affiliated clinical placement sites and successfully drive educational excellence within the clinical environment in the discipline. About You A medical qualification registrable with AHPRA. A fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Pathologists Strong leadership skills and the ability to foster academic achievement in others with demonstrated leadership in research and scholarship. Experience working as a clinical teacher and/or supervisor with either or both medical students and/ or junior doctors and specialist trainees. Experience in medical education, teaching and assessment preferably in both medical school and postgraduate training settings. High level interpersonal skills including demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with a diverse range of people. Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to work collaboratively, develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external) Demonstrated organisational skills and management of administrative tasks. Appointment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory National Criminal History check and an NT Working with Children clearance Remuneration Appointment to this role will be at HE Academic Level E. The base salary will be $195,391 per annum (pro rata) The total remuneration package will be $228.607 per annum inclusive of 17% superannuation.
