Business Analyst – Fund Management Location: Sydney Shape the Future of Fund Management Technology Join a high-performing team building the next generation of enterprise software for the wealth, investment, and fund operations sector. This is a hands‑on, senior role where you’ll drive meaningful change, own end‑to‑end analysis, and work side‑by‑side with leadership, engineers, and UX specialists to deliver features that matter. What You’ll Do Champion business analysis across the full delivery lifecycle—requirements, documentation, testing, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with senior management and cross‑functional teams to translate high‑value business needs into clear, prioritised requirements. Lead and facilitate workshops that shape product direction and inform design decisions. Work closely with development and UX teams to refine user stories and define intuitive, meaningful feature outcomes. Write concise user stories and acceptance criteria that enable high‑quality builds. Identify business priorities, frame minimum viable products, and craft practical solutions with technical stakeholders. Continuously enhance processes, tools, and practices to boost productivity, quality, and security. Uphold company policies and information security obligations to maintain the highest standards of data protection. What You Bring 5+ years as a Business Analyst, with significant experience in Agile delivery. Background in financial services—ideally wealth, investment management, fund registry, or trading environments. A proven ability to deliver multiple enterprise software projects across full development lifecycles. Outstanding communication skills and a talent for simplifying complex concepts into clear user stories. Strong analytical, requirements‑gathering, and documentation capabilities (user stories, workflows, storyboards, etc.). Experience collaborating with distributed teams. Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and familiarity with BDD/Cucumber/specification‑by‑example (highly regarded). Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.
