About the Opportunity As a Cook, you will provide quality food services to residents and provide kitchen and food preparation support to our Head Chef. Duties include but not limited to: Taking direction from the Chef Ensure delicious, well-balanced and nutritional meals are planned, prepared and presented to meet the needs of our residents Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties and stock control Purchase and order stock and equipment Ensuring all food is prepared, cooked and served in accordance with legislation About You To be successful, you'll need: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent Demonstrated minimum 2 years experience in a commercial kitchen within aged care/healthcare Bulk cooking experience highly desirable Experience with texture modified food advantageous Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and co-workers Please Note: Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Check In return you'll get: A work culture that truly values you and invests in your career.
