You will be travelling around Hornsby, Thornleigh, Pennant Hills and surrounding suburbs in a varied and rewarding role - no two days will be the same Day To Day Role Looks Like Supporting and connecting with our clients assisting with day to day in home tasks - cleaning, tidying, washing and other tasks within the client's care plan Transport to appointments and shopping Meal preparation Social Support or Respite for family/carers Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained) To Be Successful In This Role You’ll Need A genuine passion for providing high quality care to the older Australian's in the community To be comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people Good communication skills To be a reliable team player To have an understanding of workplace health and safety Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support highly regarded (but not essential) An Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential) What We Can Offer You Competitive hourly pay rate + Km reimbursement (99c per Km) + paid travel time Not-for-profit tax benefits so you pay less tax Career growth and increased earning potential Earn and learn - we will support you to get a Certificate 3 with paid placements Fitness Passport discounted gym benefits Paid Parental leave Long Service leave after 5 years A values-based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgrounds Catholic Healthcare acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we live, work and dream.
