Support Worker – Mallee District Aboriginal Services Join to apply for the Support Worker role at Mallee District Aboriginal Services . We’re seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join the Hornsby team, providing tailored support to a male client presenting with behaviours associated with complex mental health. Are comfortable adhering to BIS/Care plans and restrictive practices as directed by clinical teams and Site Managers. Demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering consistent, safe, person‑centred support in complex or physically demanding environments. Thrive in encouraging capacity building, helping clients develop skills such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport, and community participation. Are highly competent in computer/IT skills and report writing. Requirements We are aware there are a number of compliance checks for this role, but we value the following: Regular access to your own car. Valid P2 NSW Driver’s Licence or higher. Flexible availability across a 24/7 roster, which may include mornings (6am‑2pm OR 7am‑3pm), split shifts, afternoons (2pm‑10pm OR 3pm‑11pm) and SO shifts. Successful applicants will be required to hold an NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and a Working with Children Check. If you have lived or worked for a continuous period of 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years, a certified International Police Check from that country/countries will also be required. The offer is conditional on meeting these requirements.
