Based in the Hills District, this full-time, on-site role offers an excellent opportunity to step into a leadership position, managing both client portfolios and internal staff. You will be expected to work proactively, communicate clearly, and maintain excellence in service delivery-even under pressure.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage a portfolio of SME clients for all tax and accounting matters Prepare and review income tax returns and financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals Provide strategic tax planning and business advice in both Mandarin and English Handle complex tax issues including FBT, GST, CGT, Division 7A, and transfer pricing Supervise and review work of junior team members, and lead staff training Oversee the quality and efficiency of internal workflow and client deliverables Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, explaining complex tax issues in plain language Support leadership in refining internal systems and maintaining a strong team culture Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting CPA or CA qualified (or near completion) 7+ years of progressive tax experience in public practice or corporate tax Strong knowledge of Australian tax law; international tax experience is a plus Experience with FBT, GST, CGT, Division 7A, and transfer pricing Fluent in Mandarin and English (essential) Proficient in Xero, MYOB, LodgeIt, and other cloud-based platforms Advanced Excel skills Key AttributesExcellent communication: able to clearly explain complex tax issues to clients and team members High attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines Proven leadership ability and experience in managing and mentoring a team Proactive, client-focused, and commercially aware Strong ethical judgment and accountability Able to thrive under pressure while maintaining quality and professionalism Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries Staffing and Recruiting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at W3Global by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Senior Tax Accountant” roles.
