What makes this role special Work with an established media company during an exciting period Attractive package of $110k – $120k + super Flexible working arrangement with 2 days work from home per week Convenient Sydney CBD location with excellent transport access 9‑month fixed‑term contract with clear timeframe Responsibilities Tax Return Preparation: Prepare consolidated and standalone tax returns (income tax, FBT and GST) for the Australian tax group, including supporting workpapers. Tax Compliance Management: Ensure accurate and timely lodgement of all tax obligations across the group. Regulatory Authority Liaison: Assist with the management of tax regulatory authority reviews and enquiries. Tax Advisory: Provide practical tax advice to the business on various tax matters as they arise. Tax Monitoring & Compliance: Ensure internal processes remain compliant with existing tax laws by monitoring tax developments and legislative changes. Technical Research: Stay current with tax law changes and assess impact on the business. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with finance teams and business units on tax matters. Skills Needed Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Demonstrated Australian tax experience in corporate tax, FBT and GST. Strong problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
