Client Services Team Leader

We are excited to announce the creation of a new Client Services Team Leader position within our growing business. This is an outstanding opportunity for a passionate, motivated professional to lead a high-performing team and contribute to the next stage of our firm’s success. Based in our St Kilda Road office, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a dedicated team responsible for implementing advice, preparing reviews, and delivering an exceptional client experience. We are seeking a Client Services Team Leader to join our team on a full‑time basis. As a key member of the business, you will work closely with 3 Advisers and 5 Client Service Managers to ensure the efficient delivery of high‑quality financial advice and client service. Your responsibilities will include: Overseeing the timely implementation of advice and strategies across a range of investment and superannuation platforms; Supporting advisers and clients through review preparation and ongoing service delivery; Organising and prioritising workflows across tasks of varying complexity, including investment transactions and holistic financial advice implementation; Maintaining accurate and compliant client records; Driving process improvement and efficiency initiatives; Providing leadership, mentoring, and development to team members; and Assisting senior leadership with key business projects. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in client services within financial advice, wealth management, or financial services administration; Experience with SMSF clients (highly regarded); Proficiency with Xplan (essential); Strong organisational and time management capabilities; Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and support a diverse team; A proven commitment to delivering exceptional client service; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within an energetic, open‑plan team environment; A relevant financial planning qualification (preferred but not essential).
