Principal Software Engineer - React Native Mobile Join to apply for the Principal Software Engineer - React Native Mobile role at Atlassian. Overview The Rovo Mobile team is looking for an experienced principal mobile developer familiar with React Native to help us build our AI vision on mobile devices. You'll build and maintain the Rovo app at Atlassian, collaborate with design to develop new features and workflows, and verify their impact and usability. As an engineer on this team you will be responsible for feature development and for delivering regular releases of our app, while staying customer‑focussed and selecting technologies that empower users. Responsibilities Build high‑quality features and infrastructure that is fast, testable, and scalable. Drive strong collaboration with other engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on great solutions. Contribute to code reviews and documentation, and take on complex bug fixes. Lead projects from technical design, implementation, launch to operation. Onboard and mentor junior engineers. Qualifications Experience in React Native development and either iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development. Bachelor's degree (preferably Computer Science or equivalent experience). Understanding of modern mobile software development, including testing, tool development, the release process, and monitoring; experience with releasing with experimentation is a plus. Experience building mobile applications at scale. Experience with Agile software development methodologies in a high‑velocity environment. Experience engineering software systems of medium‑to‑large scope and complexity.
