About the role Transform complex governance, risk, and leadership concepts into accessible, engaging, and high-performing content that builds trust, authority, and conversion. The Content Manager is the bridge between brand storytelling, professional learning, and audience engagement; responsible for the words, visuals, and narratives that make the Governance Institute relevant in a crowded market. Key Responsibilities Editorial development: Plan, write, and produce high-quality multimedia content across all owned channels: including News Update, Journal, vodcasts, webinars, social posts, and campaign assets. Campaign integration: Translate campaign strategy into content calendars aligned with membership and education goals. Content optimisation: Analyse content performance using metrics like CTR, dwell time, and engagement rates; iterate based on data and audience insights. Tone and voice: Ensure all content reflects GIA’s brand attributes and aligns with the “Another Good Decision” platform. Collaboration: Partner with Lifecycle Marketing to design content that supports specific customer journeys and retention campaigns; coordinate with Brand Experience to ensure creative consistency across assets. Thought leadership support: Create supporting assets for key flagship initiatives (Ethics Index, Events, vodcast series). Experience & Qualifications Proven ability to plan, write, and produce high-quality multimedia content (video, editorial, digital assets) aligned to brand and campaign strategy. Storytelling & editorial judgement: Strong understanding of narrative structure and audience engagement, with experience turning complex ideas (e.g., governance, risk, ethics) into compelling human stories. Demonstrated experience creating content for digital channels (LinkedIn, email, web, YouTube), with solid grasp of SEO, accessibility, and UX writing principles. Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, communications, and policy teams to create content that reinforces GIA’s advocacy and commercial priorities. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, CMS (WordPress), and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Sprout Social). 7+ years in journalism, corporate communications, or digital content roles (agency or in-house). Proven track record producing thought leadership or educational content for professional or member-based audiences. Experience in stakeholder interviews, scriptwriting, and managing production workflows from concept to delivery.
