About the role Team Global Express is seeking multiple Yard Tug / Shunt Drivers to commence immediately in Larapinta on Brisbane's South Side Full Time Permanent roles, 1:30 - 9:30pm Monday to Friday The hourly rate for this position is $37.65/hour, plus penalties & 15% superannuation This role will be primarily site based, where you will be required to keep up with a busy, fast paced yard Must have a proven ability to reverse trailers in tight spaces/docks Use of two-way radio through the shift, to communicate with Yard Drivers, Fleet Controllers and Supervisors Follow all safety process and procedures Follow direction and have a great attention to detail regarding trailer movements/registrations Carry out all duties within set time frames and follow instructions closely. Identifying damages and reporting in accordance with site process Must have a safety first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes What you'll bring Holds a valid MC Drivers Licence Experience in TUG Operations/Yard duties (Terberg/Daysworth Tug) is preferred You must have Full Rights to work in Australia You must have a high attention towards Safety About Team Global Express Team Global Express (TGE) is an Australian-owned transport and logistics business delivering to Australia and New Zealand.
