About the Opportunity We currently have an opportunity for an experienced cost management and quantity surveying professional to join our growing Sydney cost team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in cost management and a genuine interest in building their career across diverse and challenging projects. Problem solving is in our DNA – our team works closely to develop simple solutions to complex problems. We provide quality cost management advisory services to both public and private sectors and successfully deliver services on iconic and major projects across a variety of industries. Responsibilities Strategic advisory services to support investment and business case decisions. Lender’s Technical Advisory (LTA) roles across major projects. Disputes, claims and variation assessments, including expert advice and report preparation. Cost control, estimating and benchmarking throughout all project phases. Commercial advisory and contract management. Supporting and leading client-facing delivery across multiple sectors, including energy, water, infrastructure, and international opportunities. What you’ll bring Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent. 3+ years’ post-graduate experience in cost management or quantity surveying role Experience in contract administration and change management. Demonstrated exposure to cost planning, estimating, and cost control. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in tools such as CostX, Power BI, and Microsoft Office. Good communication skills, including report writing. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Progress towards MRICS or AIQS membership (desirable but not essential).
