We’re looking for a Merchandise Planner/Allocator to join our Team at General Pants With passion and precision at the heart of everything we do, this Merchandise Planner/Allocator position is no exception You will be responsible for the General Pants division, using your innovative thinking to maximise opportunities and planning functions. About the Role... This is a unique opportunity, working across multiple brands, supporting them to grow cost effectively, whilst still driving a start‑up and growth environment. As the Merchandise Planner/Allocator, you are responsible for the optimal management of inventory across all brands within the Commercial Division. You will harness your valued experience, expertise, and innovative thinking to maximise growth opportunities, keeping a strong hold of budget controls, managing key internal stakeholders and being the central reporting figure for the Commercial business. You are hands‑on, entrepreneurial, a self‑starter, and passionate about moving through different challenges, and problem solving to deliver outcomes. You are motivated by opportunities to deliver growth, have the vision to see potential, and can articulate the strategies required to get there. You challenge the norm but can inspire and influence the key stakeholders throughout the journey. About You... Results focused with proven strategies implemented to increase sales. Inventory management knowledge – responsible for stock allocation, replenishment, and supply chain processes. Experience within merchandising and planning functions. Responsible for Store Assortment and Manual Replenishment. Exceptional attention to detail and can work in a fast‑paced environment. Commercial awareness – experience working with sales trends, market conditions, and their impact on inventory decisions. Clear and concise communication skills. Attention to detail – accuracy in forecasting, purchase orders, and managing delivery timelines.
