Talent Acquisition Consultant at CQUniversity School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced academic to support the growth and development of Safety Sciences courses. The role plays a key part in delivering and developing curriculum across multiple study levels, drawing on a broad knowledge of safety sciences and a commitment to applied, industry‑aligned education. Responsibilities Deliver high‑quality teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Develop and assess curriculum, including multi‑modal delivery. Conduct applied research in Safety Sciences and integrate findings into teaching. Engage with industry and community partners to enhance practical relevance. Qualifications (Lecturer) Postgraduate qualification (or equivalent) in Safety Sciences. Senior‑level industry experience in Safety Sciences. Expertise in risk management, safety systems or Occupational Health and Safety law. Proven teaching and supervision experience, curriculum design and delivery. Track record of applied research and integration into teaching practices. Additional Qualifications (Senior Lecturer) Completed or nearing completion of a PhD in Safety Sciences or a closely related discipline. Team leadership experience. Expertise in developing engaging teaching resources and fostering industry collaboration. Remuneration and Conditions Lecturer (Level B) Total remuneration $134,885–$157,870 pa (salary $113,980–$133,403 plus 17 % superannuation and leave loading). Senior Lecturer (Level C) Total remuneration $162,470–$184,987 pa (salary $137,290–$156,317 plus 17 % superannuation and leave loading). Continuous, full‑time appointment; location: Cairns, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Emerald, Gladstone, Mackay, Townsville, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide or work‑from‑home (negotiable). One position available; appointment level based on experience and attributes. Benefits 17 % superannuation. 6 weeks annual leave (incl. Christmas and New Year closure). 10 days personal/sick leave plus 5 days carer's leave. 7.25 hours engaged service leave. Professional and career development opportunities.
