With 16 centres across South East Queensland,Sunkids is proud to deliver a proven curriculum led by passionate, experienced educators who build strong, lasting relationships with families and communities About the Centre Sunkids Mermaid Waters is a purpose-built centres that cater for 162 children from 6 weeks to school age throughout 9 fully-serviced, modern learning rooms designed specifically for each age group. About the Role We’re seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Food Coordinator to join our leadership team at Mermaid Waters. As an Assistant Food Coordinator you will have a passion for providing healthy nutritious meals daily to the children, as well as: Be able to help prepare, implement and evaluate the nutritional content of menus for children of all ages Have experience in bulk meal preparation, online ordering, stock management and budget control Maintain a clean and safe kitchen, in accordance with Food and Council Authority requirements Ability to work 5 days per week highly regarded What You’ll Bring Proven experience as a Centre Cook/Chef within an Early Learning setting Food Safety Supervisor Certificate Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Asthma Management Certificates Current Blue Card Why Join Sunkids At Sunkids, we recognise that great leadership starts with support.
