Synergie is seeking a Waste Sorter for our client in a leading waste management facility located at Coolaroo, VIC. Pay & Schedule $36.70 per hour + Super Temp to Perm opportunity Days and afternoon shifts available About the role As a Sorter, you will play a key role in supporting recycling operations by sorting recyclable materials on a fast‑moving conveyor line while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Sorting recyclable materials from a fast‑moving conveyor line Working in a repetitive, noisy, dusty environment Cleaning work areas and outdoor spaces as required Conducting waste audits for council representatives and clients Completing accurate reporting in a timely manner Performing routine equipment checks and basic maintenance Reviewing procedures regularly with a focus on safety and continuous improvement Qualifications & Skills Hold a valid car licence (essential) Good work ethic and strong reliability MUST be comfortable with waste smells Ability to perform repetitive tasks over long periods Strong commitment to safety and compliance Self‑motivated and able to work independently and with a team High attention to detail What’s on offer As a leading provider of temporary workforce, we offer a weekly pay run, commitment to safe working environments, and supportive consultants.
