WLDM - White Light Digital Marketing – Byron Bay NSW SEO/ AI SEO Specialist (Remote role - Australia-based) | Full-Time | $AUD 60-80/hr WLDM is a high-growth AI and SEO agency with a rapidly expanding AI research and development arm. Our data science team is actively building models, running large-scale AI Citation studies and publishing research that is redefining how brands gain visibility in the age of AI. Our CEO speaks globally on GEO and AI search and we are now entering the most exciting stage of our evolution. With a globally distributed team of 100+ people and a strong pipeline of enterprise clients, WLDM is now seeking an experienced SEO/ GEO Account Manager who brings perspective, curiosity, and passion to the table. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll lead a portfolio of SEO + GEO clients and ensure exceptional delivery, communication and strategic direction. This role blends strategy, client leadership, project management and cross-team collaboration. Key responsibilities include: Develop, manage and execute SEO strategies across technical SEO, keyword research, internal linking and backlink planning. Lead GEO-ready strategies by working with WLDM’s AI Research Lab, integrating co-citation signals, semantic authority concepts and LLM-visibility frameworks into your client strategies. Guide clients through the shift from classic SEO to GEO , helping them adapt to the new search landscape. Lead client communication , present findings, guide strategy and build strong, proactive relationships. Identify workflow bottlenecks and ensure smooth delivery of tasks across teams. Analyze performance data , identify opportunities and prioritize the actions that matter most. Prepare and present monthly reports , including SEO and GEO insights. Participate in daily stand-ups and weekly team meetings to ensure alignment on client work. Maintain account documentation , including strategy roadmaps, progress trackers and task structures. Who You Are 3+ years as an SEO Account Manager , SEO Lead or similar agency role. Strong understanding of technical SEO, keyword research, content strategy and backlink frameworks. Strong project management skills – You can handle multiple campaigns, deadlines and deliverables with ease. Excellent leadership & communication skills. Curious, analytical and excited about the rapid evolution of search. Highly organized, reliable and experienced managing multiple client accounts. Comfortable working independently within a fast-paced, high-expectation environment. Strong interest in GEO : how LLMs interpret, rank, rerank, cite, and surface information. Bonus: Data science or analytics background (even light experience), such as SQL, dashboards, modelling, or a willingness to learn. Why Join WLDM?
