About the Home The delightful Bendigo care home is located in the vibrant regional centre of Victoria. It consists of 152 beds, with various care units. About The Role As our Bendigo Care Manager, you will work as part of a team of empathetic and caring clinical professionals. You will support the General Manager in managing and leading the delivery of person‑centred care of residents, ensuring the highest standard of ongoing assessment, care planning and evaluation and clinical governance, helping them to live longer, healthier, and happier lives. Benefits of Bupa Free select Health Insurance for you and your immediate family up to $5500 Relocation and accommodation assistance may be available for eligible candidates Supportive, collaborative, and caring team culture Continual learning and development opportunities Flexible working shifts and arrangements Relocation and accommodation assistance available Internal transfers across our care homes Sponsorship opportunities available to eligible workers Duties Oversee the daily clinical operations of the care home Support and lead the care home clinical team including coaching, mentoring, staff allocations and delegation, performance management and education Review clinical incidents, complaints and changes Lead compliance with ACFI assessments Manage person‑centred care planning and evaluation for residents – including case conferencing with families and carers Prepare and conduct clinical governance audits Oversee medication management in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirements Liaise with allied health, medical practitioners and other services to provide optimal resident care Skills and Experience Current AHPRA is essential Bachelor of Nursing or Equivalent is essential Post grad qualification in aged care highly regarded Experience managing a minimum of 30 beds Proven track record in delivering quality clinical care within an aged care or acute setting Excellent clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilities Highly effective communication, leadership and relationship management skills An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes Culture We all share the same purpose at Bupa Aged Care.
