ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY The Infrastructure team focuses on managing the daily presentation of the public domain within the Cumberland City Area ensuring that it is maintained and presented so that residents and visitors are proud of the area and it meets their expectations. In contributing to the overarching vision the Supervisor - Infrastructure will be held accountable for the Co-ordination of resources and activities carried out by the Councils City Maintenance team. The Supervisor - Infrastructure will ensure Councils Infrastructure is maintained to meet the communities expectations by implementing a works program utilising the industries best practice. The successful applicant will require : Qualified or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years experience in supervision of concrete works signage and asphalt works Demonstrated ability to lead manage & supervise multiple teams (including apprentices contractor & volunteers) in infrastructure maintenance programs. Demonstrate sound knowledge in multiple infrastructure operations functional areas such as road maintenance footpath maintenance drainage system maintenance safety and maintenance audits coordination of work crews work programs and equipment scheduling. Demonstrate a strong customer focus with sound customer service skills and the ability to embrace a system of change and continual improvement. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively complete relevant administration tasks associated with the position including the preparation of correspondence documents and reports Computer literacy particularly in the MS office suite packages and TechOne Current Class C drivers licence Current Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan (Red card) (RIISS00056 Traffic Management Designer Skill Set) General Construction Induction Card (White Card) Download the position description herefor more information. About this role : Permanent full-time position 70-hour fortnight Access to Councils 9-day fortnight Accrued Day Off (ADO) arrangement Located at Councils Auburn Depot with frequent travel required across Council worksites and may be required to work across any of Councils work locations Salary information : The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
