The Court deals with major criminal and civil matters, plus appeals against decisions of lower courts. About The Role Offered on a fixed term full-time basis, the Court Hearings Operations Coordinator is a leadership role within the Digital Litigation Team. The position ensures that hearings run smoothly and consistently across digital, hybrid and in-person formats. This includes coordinating operational staff, supporting judicial officers and associates, and overseeing the systems and processes that enable hearings to be conducted efficiently. The role plays a key part in planning, logistics and daily operational management, with a particular focus on Criminal Division hearings and the practical delivery of eCourt and virtual proceedings. Key Accountabilities Leading, supporting and allocating Digital Operations Officers to ensure effective delivery of hearing support and daily operations Providing guidance and technical support to judicial officers, associates, lawyers and external users across Webex, Zoom and related hearing technologies Coordinating digital and in-person hearing arrangements, including Criminal Division matters, jury trials and audio-visual links with custodial settings Acting as the escalation point for operational and technical issues during hearings, ensuring consistent and timely resolution Developing and maintaining training resources, procedures and user guides to support consistent practice across the Court Monitoring system performance, maintain accurate records, and provide input to continuous improvement initiatives About You Demonstrated experience in courtroom operations, criminal procedure, or legal support roles Strong capability in coordinating teams and managing daily workflow in a high-demand environment Confidence supporting digital hearing technologies and providing guidance to users under time pressure Clear, professional and respectful communication skills when working with judicial officers, registry staff and court users Problem-solving ability and sound judgement when addressing operational and technical issues Qualifications And Experience Required Experience with litigation procedure and courtroom operations is essential Experience in training, system support, or user guidance is an advantage Tertiary studies in law, criminal justice, government or related fields are desirable but not essential How To Apply Click the ‘Apply Now' button, ensuring you include the following in your application: resume a short cover letter Other Information CSV is the employer of staff at Courts Group.
