We are a family-owned service seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Manager to join our Plays Kool Floreat early learning and childcare centre in Floreat, Western Australia. As the Centre Manager and Nominated Supervisor, you will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of our vibrant centre, ensuring we provide the highest quality care and education to our children and families. What you'll be doing Ensuring the service consistently upholds the Child Safe Standards and maintains a culture where children's safety and wellbeing are paramount Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, including staffing, programming, budgeting and compliance Lead, manage and develop a team of dedicated early childhood educators Leading recruitment, onboarding and mentoring of new team members Ensure the centre meets all regulatory requirements, maintains accurate records and reports, and delivers exceptional educational programs Build strong relationships with families and the local community Represent the centre and advocate for quality childcare Continuously improve centre operations and identify opportunities for growth What we're looking for Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved) or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) At least 3 years leadership experience as a Centre Manager in a licensed Child Care Centre Proven track record of managing a high-quality early learning and childcare centre Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and staff Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management Certificates, Current Working with Children Check and Current Child Protection Training Passion for the early childhood sector and a deep understanding of child development Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities What we offer Competitive salary: Above-award pay plus performance-based bonus Wellbeing support: EAP (Employee Assistance Program) Team culture: Collaborative and inclusive environment with opportunities for career growth and leadership progression About us Plays Kool Floreat is a highly regarded early learning and childcare centre located in the vibrant suburb of Floreat, Western Australia.
